Fables, Volume 22, Farewell, 160 pages

I picked the wrong week to read this, first David Bowie, then Alan Rickman and finally saying goodbye to Fables. I just want to sit under my desk and cry.

Saga by Brian Vaughan and Fiona Staples, 160 pages

The book club I've joined (Comics and Cocktails) is reading this for March. It was a pretty good mix of sci-fi mixed with West Side Story. I wouldn't have picked this up otherwise, but I'm glad I did.

Afterlife with Archie: Escape from Riverdale by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa & Francesco Francavilla, 160 pages

This was AMAZING! Zombies and Archie meet up in a wonderful dark twist on the Archie universe. It's been updated for today's world and was a compelling read. Now I just have to wait for the next book, I don't know if I can hold out.

Zom-B Gladiator by Darren Shan, 160 pages

This is the 6th book in Shan's latest series. So far he's done demons, vampires, and now zombies. I can't wait to read his werewolf series, which is the only logical thing for him to do next. But of course he needs to finish this series first.

Zom-B Baby by Darren Shan, 160 pages

This is one of the darkest zombie book series I've read. Darren Shan does dark, creepy and twisted like very few others. I mean, zombie baby, that is creepy.

You're All Just Jealous of My Jetpack by Tom Gauld, 160 pages

Meghan had reviewed this book and it looked interesting. I ended up driving my husband crazy by repeatedly saying, "You've got to look at this one. It's hilarious." I felt snooty and high class when I got the comics and lowbrow and slow on the few I didn't. I've even included my favorite comic out of the book.

The Art and Making of Hotel Transylvania by Tracey Miller-Zarneke, 160 pages

I was sent this to review for Nightowl Reviews and it's a beautiful coffeetable book. The artwork and design time that went into this movie is astounding.
